Buy Now to Beat Inflation
All economic factors, except the one’s that the Federal Reserve consider, point to rapidly rising prices. The value of the All Mighty dollar is shrinking along with the sizes/quantities of the consumables themselves. All currencies are rising relative to the dollar, making the price of Oil topping $100 a barrel. That’s the bad news…
The Good news is that you can beat Inflation by making your purchases now. You still have time to make your 3rd & 4th quarter promotional gift purchases now before prices accelerate!
Recent price hikes are probably not reflected yet on many sites so it’s best to consider placing your orders now. Look for Special Offerings, Coupons and Bonus-offers for even greater value.
Once again, it pays (plenty) to plan ahead and buy your Customized Products now!
Great Promotional Expectations
- Customization and personalization automation has made promotional products more accessible in price and quantity. Individual items are now easier to handle and personalize. - From custom printed Labels to Pens on the low-end, all the way to Designer Apparel to Crystal Awards…all can be economically customized and with low minimums. All products are ready for your immediate & customized use….
Now Even USPS Needs to Change To Survive
The Postmaster General testified that the U.S. Postal Service will not survive as a self-financing entity without significant changes to current law. Some of these losses can be attributed to Americans’ changing modes of communication but mainly the losses are the result of an inflexible business model due to the laws that govern the Postal Service. The Postal Service still lost a “staggering” $8.5 billion in 2010 and is projecting to be in the red this year by $6.4 billion.
The Postmaster said that “Even during two of the worst years of the recession, 2007 and 2008, had it not been for the prefunding requirement, the Postal Service would have realized a profit of $3.3 and $2.8 billion respectively. The effect of RHB prefunding is profound. In addition to asking for corrective legislation on the RHB prefunding, he also asked the subcommittee to look favorably on the agency’s proposal to transition to a five-day delivery schedule and to provide the Postal Service with more latitude on the products and services it can offer its customers.
The Price is Still Right!
Thanks to great leaps in technology and mass-production efficiencies over the past 15 years, we are getting more value for every dollar spent on goods and services. This is most obviously measured in the reduction of costs for the same, or sometimes, better product. Less obvious, is how much better serviced we are. We have adapted ourselves these past years to only expect enhanced features for the same or even less money. Like a spoiled child, we’ve come to believe that this is very normal. Well the hard truth is that this is about to end. We are now reverting back to the past, and not the future.
As hard as it will be to accept, prices in 2011 have now begun to rise! No longer can you expect for prices to decrease, never-mind about staying the same. Contrary to the Fed’s and other Financial Index’s pointing to deflation, practically all commodities are rising in cost as are labor costs ( in foreign countries ). The Fed has their own way of measuring, and it doesn’t include what affects us most. Groceries, rent, gas, utilities, transportation, etc. have all risen substantially this past year…
