Try Doing the Math – Recession is Diminishing while Inflation is Increasing!
If you’re trying to understand where our economy is going don’t bother using a calculator! There are just not enough decimal places, and even if there was you would still need to offset the monetary gains with the cost of living increases….way beyond what a computer can do, no- less a calculator.
For those of us who care to improve our much simpler economic models, why not offer a reminder that it can be done. Try offering a custom promotional calculator with their own company name on it? How can they possibly fail to improve their personal economic models…

Coffee Break
Let’s face it, the majority of us work better after a cup-of-jo. Ok, let’s not give Coffee all the credit, let’s give it caffeine, which of course can be in many different beverages. Still, coffee is the hands-down leader in getting our engines started. Well, if that’s the case then certainly work efficiency should also rise! So, it’s no wonder that many offices provide and even encourage coffee breaks….Logically then, on a micro-level, you are working better and earning more money. On a macro-level, the company will be doing better and so will the Economy.
On yet another level, imagine the appreciation and good you will be doing for the economy by offering Custom Labeled Coffee for the holidays or upcoming event. That’s right, now for prices that are lower than a name-brand bag of coffee that you will purchase at the supermarket, you can have your own branded coffee to give out. If you think about, everyone’s a winner … including the Economy.
Another TARP boost…or is it?
$75 Billion will be pumped into the US economy this month that will basically create more cyber-money. These non-material dollar bills are the equivalent of making more printing presses that would print more money 24/7. On the surface it might sound like a good idea and it will give a short-lived boost to most business’. What we all need to know is that this will inevitably add to our fears of major inflation in the US, and the dilution or devaluing of our All Might Dollar. So, the question for the people in the know and who care, is…when? When and how fast will inflation begin to affect us. We believe that it’s already started and will escalate sooner than we think.
So, what does this have to do with promotional items and your business? Well, to start with your costs for products will begin to rise, as will their servicing. Till now, most advertising specialty companies are absorbing these costs and it would be wise for you to plan ahead. The bottom line for us all is to save ourselves and our employers money wherever we can. That said, you have your chance now to save big by buying ahead of schedule. Why not begin today? Start purchasing your customized promotional items for upcoming Tradeshows, Award ceremonies, Golf outings ( if your lucky enough to have them ), etc…right now?
Be smart, think ahead, plan ahead, and buy ahead….
The Marriage of Promotional Products & Elections
Fresh with the post election quiet you are probably wondering what this title means. Well to begin with we used the word “marriage” because it is more striking and caught your attention. Marriage is between human beings, and so would not technically apply here. The more appropriate meaning heading should be The Natural Bond between Promotional Products and the Elections. Not very exciting, but fitting…
The importance of media, especially now with the internet, email, cell phones, and interactive TV, can make or break any candidate. Any and all exposure of the candidates name is good exposure. Some even go so far as arguing that a negative ad about the opponent, in fact actually might help the opponent….again, it’s all about exposure. With all the excitement and buzz about cyber-advertising, we should not forget what has been around for centuries. Not Facebook, but good old-tried-true, ever-perfected, visual human contact. That’s right, remember it? Like classic campaign buttons, t-shirts, bumper stickers, and much much more…
You don’t need to ignore the label of Democrat, Republican, Independent or whatever…you just need to make yourself and where you go be the actual campaign.

What are Advertising Specialties and what’s so important about them anyway?
Commonly known as Promotional Products, these items are generally purchased in bulk and imprinted with a Logo or Message and given away. Hence, the use of the word advertising. But, why call them specialties? Well, mostly because these products are targeted, or are indeed specific to a promotion, Event, Award, Tradeshow, Holiday, etc. Most important of all is that imprinted promotional products on a business level is repeatedly proven to be the most cost-efficient form of advertising. Pretty good thing to know during these hard economic times.
